Manager, Govt Acctg Compliance

Manager Corporate Government Accounting & Compliance (GAC) position, reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Government Accounting & Compliance (GAC) as part of Corporate Controllers Organization. This role is critical in helping to fulfill Honeywell's requirements as a supplier to the US Government.  Responsibilities: Lead in the analysis, preparation and publishing the incurred cost submissions for Corporate expenses compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 31, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and allocations to the business units. Lead in the analysis, preparation and publication for Corporate Office Forecast on a CAS basis. Provide support for audits and inquiries from the US Government representatives (DCMA / DCAA) Maintain positive relationship and provide subject matter guidance to major functional customers and suppliers, including DMCA / DCAA, Strategic Business Groups - particularly Aerospace, and Corporate personnel.   Review and analyze financial data to create proactive dialog with key stakeholders. Ensure proper disclosure of financial information in compliance with Public Law. Participate on and lead special projects within the GAC organization. Interface with Corporate functional leads and with the business units to ensure that systems and procedures comply with government requirements. Represent the company at industry working group meetings.   Maintain books of accountsParticipate in improvementMaintain Accuracy in booksEnsure Compliance YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related discipline  5 to15 years accounting, financial analysis, and/or government compliance experience, preferably in a Corporate environment, in progressively responsible roles US Citizen WE VALUE Specific accounting system knowledge of Hyperion/HFM, ESSBASE, ACCESS, SAP desirable Maturity to deal with sensitive and confidential information Knowledge of accounting, Federal Acquisition Regulations, CAS and business theory and principles Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong attention to details; focus on accuracy/quality Responsive and timely; sense of urgency, ability to meet tight deadlines Process improvement oriented with project management skills Motivated, self-starter Good organizational skills; ability to maintain proper records for audit trail Good written and verbal communications skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Exempt INCLUDES Continued Professional Development ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Job ID: HRD49067

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
