Director of Procurement Functional Excellence

Lead all procurement activities related to the execution of $250M in third party spend for equipment and construction services that support the operation, safety, and growth of PMT's manufacturing large scale chemical processing plants and discrete manufacturing facilities. Lead a global team of 20 people that support 82 manufacturing sites in 25+ countries. Drive cost savings and cost avoidance through the development and execution of complex supplier strategies leveraging savings tools including eAuctions, High Growth Region transitions, Value Engineering, and Sole/Single Source elimination. You will identify sourcing opportunities either by collecting business requests from PMT plants or driving new initiatives for cost effectiveness and then manage the team in the development and execution of sourcing projects with productivity improvement or cash flow optimization. You will effectively communicate with stakeholders and suppliers, manage the close loop of sourcing, procurement and fulfillment. o Manage global procurement team in the sourcing and contracting of key capital procurement categories (Rotating, PVF, Electrical, and Construction Services.) o Collaborate with the businesses and functional leadership to develop procurement strategies for key services and equipment purchased, bringing both global and regional functional expertise as well as deep market and industry knowledge. o Be responsible for achieving and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) the global PMT productivity and working capital improvement results.  Be capable to present cogently, on a regular basis, results of procurement function to AM and PMT senior leadership o Be responsible for achieving and reporting the progress of key procurement improvement initiatives - e.g., High Growth Region (HGR) local sourcing, procurement related aspects of M&A integration and divestitures, indirect spend reduction initiatives, etc. o Maintain the efficient and timely operation of process related to obtaining Request for Proposal's, Request for Inquiry's, Quotes, NDA's, and Purchase Order's  o Develop and launch Commodity Value Teams (CVTs) with engineering, maintenance, and operations to support the development of short and long-term commodity strategies incorporating cross-functional perspectives and priorities.  o Ensure all procurement of goods and services are protective of Honeywell's confidential information.  Maintain the integrity of Honeywell's confidential information and technologies and only provide necessary details under appropriate non-disclosure provisions. o Maintain efficient and timely execution of change orders, back charges, claims and disputes that arise, while maintaining Honeywell's reputable standing. o Identify opportunities for continuous Work Process and Productivity improvements utilizing Six Sigma principles and suggest and implement product and vendor improvement projects. o Lead global team, develop talent and expertise, build a strong succession plan for your direct leadership team as well as regional teams and build global procurement capability in chemical and equipment sourcing areas. o Deliver timely and high quality flow of project information to necessary parties. o Build trust by following through on commitments.   You Must Have o B.S. in a technical discipline, ME, ChemE, project management, or technical fields related to the petro-chemical, specialty chemical, performance materials, or refinery industries, or Finance or Accounting is required o Minimum 10-15 years of experience in procurement of chemicals and related materials or automotive procurement experience is required We Value o Technical or Master's Degree in Business is an advantage o Additional languages while not a requirement would be a bonus o Travel both domestically and internationally will be required, 20% o Known and respected by the industrial and supplier community o Experience in qualification and development of new suppliers o Familiarity with construction project execution of large process plants o Experience in contracting strategies, cost plus, firm fixed price  o Change order and dispute management and resolution o Familiarity with SAP will be considered an advantage Job ID: HRD48362

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
