Welder - Level 2

Read and interpret manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints/drawings, sketches, etc.) in order to produce products as required by customer specifications and quality standards.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metals segments using processes such as the MIG Welding Method.
Operate Welding Power Supply (SYNCROWAVE 350 LX or Dynasty 350) or similar.
Perform and execute set-ups and adjustment as needed.
Perform tack welding and/or re-tack welding.
Perform routine inspection on all tack weld finish work.
Verify any and all associated work documents for accuracy and completion.
Accomplish work at a rate satisfactory to maintain production flow.
Maintain all necessary equipment in good operating condition.
Participate in continuous improvement by providing input on product and process problems. 60 Fabricating Wave Guides 20 MIG Welding 20 Spot Welding
You Must Have:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Formal welding training/instruction or Trade School certificate is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience interpreting welding process specifications jigs or set-ups for welding.
Minimum 3 years of experience using standard welding equipment and have an understanding of types of welding rods.

Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, blue prints, and build instructions to determine acceptance and rejection criteria or welding process specifications.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential production issues including manufacturing defects.
Experience working in an environment of continuous process improvement and a track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effective with others.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. English proficiency is required.
Needs to be self-motivated and work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction.
Ability to interact effectively with supervision and management. Bilingual is a plus.
