Summary:
Responsible for performing data entry duties related to process service in an efficient and accurate manner by performing the following duties.
This is for the legal industry, and is not related to healthcare/coding.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing sensitive and confidential documents Enters appropriate legal information into computer system in an accurate manner.
Generates data entry printouts and proofreads for accuracy.
Resolves or reports problems encountered immediately, including unreadable data, unacceptable data, equipment malfunctions and any other problems to the reporting supervisor.
Performs various clerical duties to include, but not limited to:
Typing, Photocopying/printing, Faxing/scanning Provides assistance to other departments as needed.
Skills:
Excellent Time Management Well Organized Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills Typing and Spelling Competency Detail Oriented Punctual Problem Solving Customer Service Ability to Multi-task Prioritization Working Independently Education/
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior related experience and/or office experience is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
