The facilitator's duties also involve selecting appropriate methods and tools that will enable participants to achieve results, reach decisions, and accomplish goals during treatment.
Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to- o Facilitate individuals and families within a group towards establishing goals and finding objective ways to achieve them.
o Willing to provide group therapy at all levels of care as needed.
o Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records with a quality of documentation that meets all applicable standards in Kipu based on daily log.
o Ability to participate in treatment team meetings on a weekly basis to ensure quality of care for clients when appropriate.
o Consult daily with Clinical Director for an update on client needs, special incidents, transfers, etc.
o Attend staff development and general staff meetings.
o Attend staff and clinical trainings.
o Participate in and attend supervisions/consultations with clinical management team as necessary.
o Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure effective delivery of a full spectrum of clinical services.
o Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations.
o Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the agency, as appropriate.
o Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.
o Abide by Absolute Awakenings code of ethics and model values.
Qualifications:
o Must be comfortable working with group dynamics while managing the meeting or activity process.
o Must possess assertive attitude when it comes to talking to a group and changing their way of thinking and promoting a change of behavior.
o Must be able to communicate with clients and staff members through various forms of communication, including email, phone, and text.
o Computer literacy is required.
Must be able to use Word, Excel, etc.
Experience on Kipu is a plus.
o Bachelors or Masters in Social Work, Psychology, or related field AND:
o Current license (NJ) to practice independently as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC OR o Current license (NJ) to practice as LSW, MFTI, LAC working toward above licenses o CADC or temp CADC Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentials duties and responsibilities of this position.
