Cryoport is immediately hiring a Logistics Center Driver Technician to deliver shipments from our Morris Plains, NJ facility.
This position will report to the Facilities Manager and will focus on pick-up and delivery of Cryoport's temperature-controlled shippers between Cryoport's Logistics Center and client locations and working as a Technician within the Logistics Center.
The right candidate will be:
Mechanically inclined with 2-3 years experience as a Delivery Driver, Forklift or tractor operator, experienced with handling power toolsProficient in computer use with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or SS and KanbanProficient in basic mathFamiliar with cGMP and/or GDP standardsQualifications And Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or EquivalentMust be able to lift/carry up to 20-80 lbs2-3 years' experience as a Delivery Driver5 years clean driving record with no traffic violations A MUSTWillingness to undergo a Background Check and Driving Background checkResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Following DOT regulations and safety standardsObserving and adhering to all traffic lawsFollowing and maintaining safety precautions in warehouseDelivering a wide variety of items to different addresses by differing routesAdhering to a time scheduleLoading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating a delivery vehicleAsking for feedback on the services you provide and resolving client complaintsCompleting and submitting logs and reportsCreating a team environment and culturePerforming other duties as assignedAdditional competencies include:
